Get Well Game
After some rough opening minutes, home cooking was just what the doctor ordered.
Good morning! It turned into a fun night at MSG. Let’s digest it from top to bottom.
Game 67: Knicks 116, Heat 95
The Knicks offense came out looking like they’d just arrived from the airport, going scoreless for more than four minutes and falling behind 12-0.
Trailing by 13 following an 8-0 Heat run late in the first, Karl-Anthony Towns dropped a majestic 15-0 spurt on Miami to give the Knicks the lead.
After a back and forth rest of the half, New York emerged with a defensively dominant mindset in the third quarter, turning that defense into offense for a 41-15 margin.
Josh Hart’s offense also got going late in that third quarter as he tied Clyde’s franchise record for the most triple doubles in a single season with eight.
Mitchell Robinson looked the best he has since returning from injury, getting significant run with KAT in the double-big alignment
Garbage time officially commenced when Thibs emptied the bench with 2:54 remaining.
Well that was fun.
As if the night wasn’t sweet enough, that it came at the expense of the once proud Miami Heat franchise made it all the better.

For as many questions as we continue to raise about this roster, the coach, and their ceiling as currently constructed, the Knicks keep finding a way to provide us with answers.
Last night, those answers came in several forms.
