Even in a preseason game against a terrible opponent, the Knicks showed us a little bit of what they're capable of.

Game Recap: Knicks 117, Wizards 94
New York’s starters opened and closed the first half like gangbusters before running away with the game in the second half
The Brunson / KAT pick & roll really got going in the third
The length of this defense is frightening
Brunson is already in midseason form, netting 25 points on 10 shots
KAT started cold but eventually heated up, finishing with 23 & 12
Tyler Kolek is coming for your rotation spot
The Wizards are atrocious
We have to start any conversation about last night with that final bullet point, because the Washington professional basketball team stinks to holy hell. It necessitates the qualifier of “I know the Wizards are bad, but…” before any positive sentiment about their opponent.
With that being said…
I know the Wizards are bad, but boy oh boy, did the Knicks look good.
