Game 4: Knicks 116, Heat 107
Karl-Anthony Towns utterly dominated with 44 points on 25 shots.
New York battled Miami tooth and nail and made several big fourth quarter plays to secure the victory.
The game flipped with a 20-point 3rd quarter turnaround spurred by Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson, who both shook off rough first half shooting numbers.
Josh Hart went from game-time decision to game saver with countless hustle plays, totaling a game high 14 boards.
OG Anunoby provided suffocating defense and timely shot, prompting his coach to lavish praise afterwards.
Don’t call it a comeback.
Having made four All-Star teams, receiving two All-NBA honors, and helping lead the Wolves to the conference finals less than six months ago, Karl-Anthony Towns surely didn’t need last night to remind himself of how good he was. In registering the 11th 40-point, 10-rebound game of his career, Towns merely did the things he’s always done, albeit on a night when some struggling teammates desperately needed his help.
