Game 12: Knicks 140, Heat 132

The moon landing. The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. The Berlin Wall coming down.

I remember my excitement as a child when I would learn about these seminal events in history and would then ask my parents where they were and what they remembered about each one.

Now, as a parent myself, I can finally experience something similar, for one day, my children will come home and ask me to tell them about where I was and what I remember about the Landry Shamet Game.

Will last night’s happenings at the Garden change the course of world history? It’s too early to say for sure.

What I do know is that Landry Shamet had himself a night that no one who witnessed it will ever forget, and it couldn’t have come at a more opportune time.
