🏀 The Knicks, along with every other NBA team, released their schedule for the 2024-25 season. Have a gander:
Some notes:
The games in blue are the four “In-Season Tournament” games, the results of which will determine the two games that will be played between December 9 and December 19.
New York plays 34 national television games, which is tied with the defending champion Celtics for third most behind the Lakers and Warriors.
The Knicks play 15 back to back sets, with 10 of those requiring travel (not counting back to backs against the Lakers and Clippers or against the Hawks at home and the Nets in Brooklyn). Here are the back to backs listed with home and away notes indicated:
Apparently still making up for the playoff throttling of 2023, New York has to take on the Cavs on the back end of three back to backs, all after the All-Star break, and all with travel. On the bright side, the back ends of 11 of the other 12 back to backs are against teams not currently forecasted to make the postseason.
