I'd die if they traded Mitch and RJ only to draft Melo and whoever but the question itself isn't as easily dismissed as it was above. With all of the draft talk about fit it would be completely irresponsible not to put every single player on the table for a potential reshuffle.

Before I pass on a better player to build around RJ's shooting you bet I'm going to look at what I could get for RJ and if that might fit better. I couldn't agree more with not mixing things up again just to do so and even think one of the biggest issues for the team is Dolan committing just long enough to change personnel before he bags the entire front office and rebuilds in a completely different direction but with a new front office that is very highly qualified now IS the time to consider a clean sweep if it can be done reasonably.

If you could trade RJ now and draft Vassell and Okoro I think the team is better. Even if you don't agree with the specific players the idea that an entirely new front office has to build around the teams best player even though that player isn't a superstar or even well rounded just doesn't make sense. Even though I've been traumatized by the number of restarts this is the one time I think it should be absolutely on the table.

As for Mitch and Wiseman, I'd give that some serious consideration if I really thought Wiseman could be a difference maker. Once again RJ might be the big issue here as I think Wiseman could even play with Mitch if the other 3 guys on the floor can shoot. Size is not the non factor it's being sold as. I'd rather see Wiseman and Mitch defending Lebron and Davis than Mitch and Randle or Mitch and Wood.

The bottom line is that the team is too young and undeveloped to treat any part of it as a foundation. If they could trade RJ and Mitch for the first two picks while keeping their other picks I think you could draft a better and more well rounded team.

Mitch, Okoro and Vassell, - Wiseman, Okoro and Vassell or Mitch, RJ and Vassell?
