Great game

Worth mentioning the Hukporti dunk on inbounds play with 0.2 seconds left as runner up for play of the game. Can't remember us executing on something like that in recent memory.

Have to agree to disagree on the Jericho love. It's year 4 and he's not a functional offensive player.

Was a fantastic play. Great call

A good ole fashioned ass whooping. Good to see Bridges light it up but it is only one night so as the Fox said in Pulp Fiction, “let’s not start sucking eachother’s dicks quite yet”. Truly, I think the way the guys have had Bridges’ back is a nice silver lining to his struggles. FAs and even vets who’d be willing to take a low salary to join a great culture team have to notice how Hart & Brunson handle business in that locker room.

LMAO perfect call back.

Jericho Sims plays center, in Thibs excellent defensive plans. Deuce is so good. Every shot looks like it’s going in. His work on defense with Sims, intensity wise, must be copied by the starters.

Happy seeing #25 light it up. I have nothing else to add here that others haven't said, so I'll just voice my frustration that Juan Please is not available anywhere near Chicago. Yet.

This stuff is going nationwide. It's too good not to. Take a trip to NY to try it at one of the watch parties. You won't be disappointed.

Great to see Bridges come out like that yesterday. Now it’s time to see him do it again, and stack some great games back to back (to back, to back…). And, more importantly for me, I want to see a dominant defensive performance when his shot isn’t falling.

The defense to me was the big story. Playing with that intensity and effort on defense can shut down a team with bad mojo right away, and make our offense appear more dominant than it was.

Talk about a Bridges over troubled water! (I earned that bad joke from my unwavering belief this performance was coming)

Couple shoutouts to the #FireThibs movement 1) Sticking with Jericho and knowing he would turn it around and knowing what kind of player he could be. 2) The Slob with your third string with .03 seconds on the shit clock to get an ally oop dunk was fun to watch.

Jericho has been a revelation - a legitimately valuable backup 5, who’s giving the team what it traditionally seeks from that position. While he’s not providing what you see from peak Mitch, I wonder if in the eyes of the FO, his play, along with the imminent return of Precious, has made Mitch more expendable.

Jericho would be unplayable in the playoffs. He is a complete zero on offense and isn't particularly good on defense. Watch the Indiana series.

Maybe. But when Mitch isn’t grabbing offensive rebounds he’s pretty much a zero on offense too. And I’m not suggesting Sims can replicate the best of Mitch. I’m more wondering if he’s shown enough to justify moving on from Mitch, particularly with the injury risk and the fact that Precious is there as well.

Mikal’s home / away splits will be studied by future generations. But seriously, I feel it’s clear he’s just finding his way and for whatever reason he and the team look a lot more comfortable at home these days. I think around January they will start to find that consistency on the road.

It was so nice to watch last night's game without any consternation from start to finish. The Knicks, especially Bridges, hit on all cylinders, so much in fact that Thibs started clearing the bench with 9:00 minutes left in the game., resting his starters for tomorrow's Cup game vs Orlando! To quote Dorothy, "There's No Place Like Home!"

Really looking forward to the game tomorrow. Would be fun regardless, but more evidence that the NBA Cup (outside of the outrageous courts and bizarre brackets) is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Agree with everyone here that it was fun to see Bridges get going. What's more? This team still has a long way to go before it's truly rolling, which makes the 12-8 start look pretty damn encouraging.

I am, however, wondering if Jon is now afflicted with some version of the sports illustrated cover curse. Wrote a cover story on OGS offense and it dries up. Write a cover story about bad Bridges and he is on fire.

Great to see this kind of game from Bridges though it wud be nice if he could also get to the free throw line.
