Good on you for taking time off to be with the family. I'm doing the same this week. Amazing what a little penetration and kick outs can do, huh? That sounded filthy, but I'm going with it. This was the best offensive energy we've seen from this team in some time. The more they fight into the teeth of the defense and as Thibs says "let the game dictate your play", the more fun this team will be to watch and the better the results. Standing around the perimeter and hoisting up a bad shot at as the clock is expires surprisingly is not a great strategy. I'm not ready to announce this as a turning point, yet. Let's see them deliver the same approach and energy across this critical next 4 game stretch and I'll let myself be seduced once again.

It is very clear that taking the “point forward” job away from Randle is the best thing this coach can do. Randle is a turnover machine and his shooting has been pitiful. However, giving the ball to Walker (or Quick, or McBride or Grimes) is way more preferable than going back to Randle.

The second best thing this coach could do is take Fournier off the court. Every few games he has a good shooting night, other than that he is a complete net zero. Fournier is just an awful, horrible, clueless defender and he definitely hurts the team d.

Finally, Thibs has to stop pandering to Randle (and to a lesser degree, Fournier) and play the players who are playing the best. And that should be regardless of contract status or size.
