The Knicks winning a noon game?! Is this a dream?!?!

It's awesome to see the whole squad in sync with each other. We have the depth to compete in a game with just about anybody. GO NEW YORK GO NEW YORK GO!

It was very nice to see some quality assists in MSG and the Knicks take care of another much weaker opponent without extended starter minutes

Brandon Miller started this game extremely well before landing badly on a transition layup. It was a big break for the Knicks as Charlotte was also missing Terry Rozier leading to 44 minutes and 3 of 16 shooting from Theo Maledon and Bryce McGowens.

If KFS makes an RJ Barrett shirt with a crow on it I will buy it. But make it subtle. Those who know, will know.

So glad you put those honorable mention PotD’s in there. I think one thing each of the three plays has in common is that all the guys that have been ball-stoppers are showing a new willingness to make the right play. Perhaps it’s the comfort and familiarity with each other that RJ talked about recently; perhaps it’s a realization after the Heat series that they can’t be so predictable offensively; perhaps there’ve been so many internal leaps that they’re all just more confident in each other -- whatever it is, it’s been a joy to watch. 28, 28, 25 assists the last three games. I couldn’t be happier with the way they’re playing right now.

Man, between you and FKatz, KFS has turned into quite the Mitch love fest! Considering a name change to MFS (Mitch Film School)? Kinda has a ring to it. I kid because I agree that all the flowers given are warranted. Been so fun to watch this kid evolve from a wild animal with pure athletic ability to dare I say a polished NBA center who knows his body and is thinking a few moves ahead. RJ to me still is the story of the season. Like you, I was starting to sell off my RJ stock piece by piece. His shot form and decision making has made a huge leap. I used to be wary every time he got the ball and started to move and certainly when he set to shoot. “Oh no” was my native instinct. Now when the ball moves to him I BELIEVE he’s going to make a good decision. When he lines up an open 3, I EXPECT it to go in. Even when he’s at the line, I’m COUNTING on 2 FTs made and am surprised when one bounces off. I never thought I’d reach that point with RJ. He will likely deviate to the mean, but I think the core elements will remain even when struggles loom. I know this is long, but last, I’m loving the Obi to Devo upgrade. Devo brings a risk taking and aggressive use of his hands on D that the Knicks were missing. I’ve commented that the Knicks are much more active in passing lanes this year and I attribute that to Devo. His teammates are either noticing what he does and realizing they can do it too or Thibs now trusts that he can coach some risk taking in with this asset and is working it more into practice/game play. Either way...I love it! Love this fuckin’ team.

I have a question...Do we really need a "superstar"...Do we need another Carmelo deal...Trade for Embiid... they are talking RJ JR Mitch and Quick and picks...Is there a way of taking those picks, Grimes and Fournier for another piece of the puzzle...maybe a better option than Grimes....if so, any ideas???

I'm sure there is, and that might be the direction they go...I'm just leery of adding another guy who demands a high usage rate, and its tough to find a true upgrade unless you're talking about the sort of player who needs the ball.
