Well, this was a fun way to start Monday morning! I agree, if any of the above are on the table, the Knicks have to do it. Adding a similarly-aged legit star to the young core would be too potentially fun to pass up.
Also, I know they had to trade for Jrue, but the Bucks at least seem like an honorable mention in the home grown champions category, given how important Giannis and Middleton are to that team and what a long shot it seemed like for those guys to become who they are now.
Stan Van Gundy said stars don’t want to come to MSG to play for the Knicks, so perhaps we shouldn’t discuss these trades…….
