The Warriors have two 2021 1st round picks & Wiseman as very valuable assets that the Knicks covet. The Knicks have several players that would help the warriors this year & can save them 100 million dollars in taxes just this year. What variation of the following makes sense for both teams?

RJ

Robinson

Frank

Butler

Unprotected 2022 1st round pick. (might be the most valuable pick for that draft at this point in time)

Wiseman

2021 1st

2021 Minn 1st

Wiggins

When we resign Frank and Mitch they will still be good players but they will no longer have any excess value over their contracts. Wiseman fits the Knicks window more than the Warriors and makes 8 mil less this year which saves the Warriors something in the neighborhood of 40 million dollars this year. (salary & tax) RJ and a Knicks first should be enough to get those two picks in a normal year but given the quality of the 2021 draft the Knicks take on Wiggins.

Before anyone freaks about Wiggins and his contract he makes 30 mil. When Frank and Mitch resign we're talking about 20+ Add in RJ and you're at 30. Replacing Mitch and Frank with picks saves enough to make Wiggins deal a bargain. You effectively lose about 11 million in space next year.

Mitch - 15

Frank - 8

RJ - 9

4th player - 4

Total - 36

Wiseman - 9

1st - 4

1st - 4

Wiggins - 30

Total = 47
