For the betting odds, those all should be + instead of -. The way you have it written means McBride, at -2500, is the favorite to “pop.”

When there is a - in front of the number that means this is the amount of money you’d have to bet to win $100. For example -2500 means you have to bet $2500 to win $100.

A + in front of the number means this is the amount of money you win if you bet $100. So +2500 means a bet of $100 wins you $2500.

Glad someone else pointed this out, I was just about to. It’s always the most smallest / inconsequential mistakes that bug me the most haha

He said what he said. There's a 1 in 25 chance that Deuce DOESN'T pop. Stick to it Macri!!!

Although Ayton's contract is not near max money, this is 2022 and I don't want a Center (except for a very few and even then I'm not sure) being the highest paid player on my team. I'm happy paying Mitch half of Ayton's salary and still getting the rim protection, rim running and rebounding.

I think this is the consensus on Ayton, but there's some thought that he'd be up to the task of having a bigger role

I think Ayton is a great fit for this team if they unload Randle in the process. My view is from a far and he also seems like a weird dude but I like what I see in terms of fit especially with Thibs. If Thibs lets Ayton push Randle off the nail I think he works regardless. Im curios what your take will be. He’s not a “wing”, pull up threat, and doesn’t “create”. Does what he isn’t make him an over pay? He does make every hook shot he takes (he’s money from 3 to 10 feet), is a legit rim protecting drop center (Thibs true love), a guy that can get buckets in the half/play PnR with Brunson, and at 24 has all star potential.

I think if you trade for him, you have to believe there's potential as a much larger offensive force than he's shown in Phoenix. What does that look like exactly? I can't say. Poor man's Embiid, perhaps.

He's scoring 17 a night, shooting 64% from the floor, with a usage rate of 21%. With his touch/post game think it is pretty evident that he can handle more. He's also 24 so he can get better. I don't understand why Phx has never looked to really extend his range and I find that a little concerning. He sure looks like he can shoot. I've also seen him be over relient on his touch. Sometimes he should use power and he uses finesse. With Thibs he would give the team another guy that get a 2 point bucket in the half court and hopefully make defenses collapse so you get more CnS 3s. I know no one likes a big clogging the paint any more but i think he can step in and out plus I like the balance of half court play with him and Brunson and off ball transition play with Obi and Grimes. RJ can be your secondary play maker, tear it up with Obi on the break, and benifit with CnS 3s. I really think that team could win a round. I think eveyone eats too so if you wind up in persuit of another star guys should have value as well.

If they can send Randle out in the deal as well, sign me up.

2 questions - what would that Ayton trade look like, and would it make sense for the Knicks?

I think I prefer ‘five more minutes’ as opposed to ‘I’m almost done’ - simply because at least I have a time limit I can attach to one of them. Your thoughts?
