Have seen the Westchester (Bridgeport) Knicks in person, when Luka Samanic, played. They lost, but Luca was impressive even playing on a bum ankle. Outside, Luka, Jericho and Deuce when he plays with them, the other players are Generic G League Players. They play hard but not ready for NBA.
First thank you for the Saturday newsletter. It was a nice surprise and also it’s a very interesting. However, I think it is wishful thinking that the Knicks could get a player as promising as Fox. Randle’s regression is bad enough but it is his rotten demeanor that stands out and I’m sure other teams are noticing Randle’s dispirited play. Nice dream though. . . . . .
Portland probably could have gotten more tangible assets but this trade puts then under the luxury tax which was obviously their goal.
I disagree with Randle being easier to move this summer. He's still on his original contract and it's easier to match salaries and combine his contract with other players at the lower number; his new contract has a trade kicker which complicates things; and if he continues to play like he has for the rest of the season it's becomes harder to convince other teams that his regression is a temporary problem.
That's a good call, although I'm going on the premonition that New York's goal is also to dump salary. And point taken on Randle, I don't necessarily disagree.
Levers to Cavs, good move for Cavs and Indy as they tear down. On the other side of the coin, Knicks management strategy is a confusing mess and/or crazy dumb. Draft Obi at 8 but don’t let him play, sign no defense Walker and Fournier, give up a first for Cam, and have him sit on the bench. Worst starting five in the NBA statistically but keep rolling them out. Randle’s game is deteriorating before our eyes, but let him continue controlling the ball. And still no point guard.

Seems you were correct! I allowed myself to dream...
And you're very welcome!

Still no freaking PG.
Will be difficult to reduce log jam at wing spot. If I had to predict, Burks gets moved, and that’s only move.
