Love the optimism!

I agree that the Knicks can win this series. We have veteran leadership with Brunson and Hart to go with a deep and talented team, but it is Randle’s play that will determine our ceiling. Julius played at an ALL NBA level again this year, but we need him to bring his improved mental focus to the post season. If Randle is healthy and plays with maturity we can win this series and challenge any team in the league.

Julius playing with MATURITY is a very big IF and the one that will define our current season/roster.

Well said. I believe we will win the series but what a precarious place to be when we use words like "if when it comes to mental focus and "maturity" from our 2nd best player.

RJ also has trouble against size on those all too frequent days when his shot is not falling. So to me, the path to a Knick victory is domination by the second unit with the first unit keeping it close

Thanks. You are so right. The threat of Randle, on the perimeter, takes away the Mobley help defense.

Thanks Tom. Good analysis.

I think we struggle to score when Deuce is on the floor so wouldn't go in that direction unless there is major foul trouble.

They were 1-1 against the Cavs with Jarrett Allen and 2-0 when the Cavs did not have him. When they have their twin towers they are the type of team that gives
