I've been wondering about taking a contract in trade that gets moved to OKC in the CP3 deal. That would allow the Knicks to send OKC a draft pick and or a young player so they could save face while allowing the knicks to get some additional value to replace whatever they would send OKC.

I wouldn't trade Robinson to move up 7 spots in this draft based on what I know but I trust the new front office to have more information and if they think Wiseman can be that much better than Mitch I'd consider moving around a bit but I have to think Robinson is worth more in a separate deal.

I think the Warriors would strongly consider Mitch alone for the number two. It would save them a lot of money and give them a player that is ready to make a big difference in games right now.

If they draft Ball the front office is all betting their jobs on his success because I'd can all of them if he's a bust.

Reports like Wassermans are hard to give any value at all this close to the draft. If I read it correctly it says based on mock drafts he's seen thus far the Knicks would take Hali over Hayes.

I'll be shocked if they fail to open on Christmas day. You simply cannot pass up prime TV days when we have no idea when or if fans will ever return in large numbers. If the league thinks fans are likely in a few month they can still start Christmas day and just have a longer season. (same number of games but fewer per week) It's OK to be optimistic but it's irresponsible to bet the kind of money lost by missing the holiday TV market. With no one traveling this year you could end up a lot more TV's tuned in than ever before.

If they really want fans, bubble at Disneyworld, Disneyland and Vegas and allow 20,000-60,000 fans to bubble and attend games. in groups of 5,000. Only for fans who can afford it and want to spend a few month at an extended NBA party. If entire countries can control the virus so can large groups in tight bubbles.

I like the front office more than I did but I'm still not willing to trade with the Nets , Dallas or Miami. I agree with being available with cap space to facilitate a Dipo deal as long as someone else isn't willing to pay more for our cap space instead of trading for him but I think the best explanation for the reason is that Dipo and his one year contract are simply worth more to a team that needs him this year than a team that doesn't. If the Knicks were a SG away for being a legit contender I'd probably pay twice as much as I would to get his expiring contract now.
