Finally! I've been following this team for 50 yrs. I don't count 2012-13, it felt fake! To me it's been 20 yrs since we had a season to really feel good about. I not only feel about this season, but I feel good about the team. They finally have competent people running the place and the future looks bright as they are well-positioned going forward. Congrats!
What a wonderful ride this season has been. I have found myself, for the first time in years, not paying attention to the draft, but instead having high hopes for the post season. We Here!
Now that I made a positive comment. Can I just say that Thibs is so pig headed! They almost lost yesterday because the guys had nothing left in the tank after playing 10 games in 2 weeks and back to back this weekend with guys who have been playing 40+ minutes in each game. They had a 20 point lead playing against the Boston B squad, would it have killed him to try putting in our B team to see if they could hold the fort and give the regulars some rest. He just drags them into the ground for no reason, I just don't get it? It's the perfect opportunity to get those guys some real in-game reps. while giving the starters some rest, and he just won't try it. He won't consider it. He won't even acknowledge that maybe it's a good idea. I really hope that he doesn't burn those guys out!
